Biography

Dr. Jenkins is a passionate and creative professional in Early Childhood Education with extensive experience in advocating for marginalized students. Committed to addressing inequity, poverty, and systemic barriers, Dr. Jenkins utilizes advocacy, research, and training to enhance educational opportunities. Holding a BA in Early Childhood Education, M.Ed.s in Language and Literacy and Education Administration, and an Ed.D. in Curriculum and Instruction, Dr. Jenkins blends academic excellence with hands-on experience.

A proud aunt to two nieces and a nephew and a devoted mom to a 10-year-old pitbull named Rocko, Dr. Jenkins balances a fulfilling professional life with personal joy. As a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated, Dr. Jenkins is dedicated to community service and leadership. In her free time, Dr. Jenkins enjoys reading, painting, and engaging in activities by the water.
