Welcome, City Year Members, Alumni, and Staff
The City Year Scholarship offers a 40% annual tuition discount for up to three eligible City Year AmeriCorps members pursuing full-time undergraduate or graduate studies.
These scholarships are renewable for the program's duration. Undergraduate recipients must be either transfer or first-time students and must meet renewal criteria, including maintaining a GPA of 3.0 or higher and remaining enrolled full-time.
The scholarships are available to City Year AmeriCorps members and alumni who have completed at least one term of service, as well as City Year staff who have been employed for at least two years.

To be considered for the scholarship, request a service verification letter by emailing alumni@cityyear.org with “Columbia College: City Year Verification Letter Request” in the subject line. In the email, include the site where you served and your AmeriCorps graduation month and year. City Year will send this letter electronically to the admissions office, where it will be added to your applicant file.
