Columbia College is pleased to announce the appointment of Julie C. Fleming as the new Vice President of Enrollment Management, effective April 1, 2025. Julie brings over 25 years of experience in higher education, with a strong record of leadership in enrollment, retention, and financial aid.
Reporting to the Provost and Executive Vice President of Academic Affairs as the Vice President of Enrollment Management, Julie will oversee key areas, including enrollment strategies, student retention, and financial aid services. Her expertise and leadership will be important in advancing Columbia College’s mission of supporting student success and fostering a strong and engaged community.

Julie joins Columbia College from Belmont Abbey College in Belmont, NC, where she served as Assistant Vice Provost of Enrollment and Director of Admissions. At Belmont Abbey, she achieved notable successes, including enrolling the largest incoming class in 2023 and fostering collaboration to meet institutional goals.
A proud alumna of Wofford College and the University of South Carolina where she received a Master of Education in Higher Education Administration, Fleming has completed professional development through the GACRAO Institute of Strategic Enrollment Management, earning recognition as a Registered Enrollment Professional. She has also been an active member of various professional organizations and committees and has presented at several industry conferences.
