Columbia College continues to closely monitor Tropical Storm Debby. Current projections indicate a high likelihood of heavy rain with flooding and dangerous driving conditions.
Because the safety of our students, faculty, and staff remains our highest priority, all offices of the College will be closed on Thursday, August 8. Student Athletes, Orientation Leaders, and Resident Assistants scheduled to move into residence halls tomorrow should now report for move-in on Friday, August 9 from 3 PM until 6 PM. Separate communications will be sent to those affected groups, including students, faculty, and support staff.
Essential workers including those part of Student Affairs, Columbia College Police Department, and Facilities should report for normal operating hours tomorrow. Essential workers will be contacted separately by their respective supervisors.
All campus offices are currently scheduled to resume normal operation on Friday, August 9, at 8:30 a.m.
