Columbia College (SC) Releases 2022-23 Women’s Basketball Schedule

Columbia, S.C.— The Columbia College (SC) women's basketball program has released its 2022-23 schedule. This year's schedule includes NCAA DIII Bob Jones University. The Koalas will have a 27-game slate with 13 home games, 14 away games. The Koalas will also have two exhibition games, one against NCAA DI USC Upstate (Nov. 3) and the other against NCAA DII Lincoln Memorial (Nov. 26).

Columbia College will open its regular season and Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) play at home versus Bryan on November 5. The Koalas will play their first three-of-four at home as they host Kentucky Christian (Nov. 12) and Point (Nov. 9). Between the home game, they will travel to Brenau on Nov. 8.

“We feel good about our schedule this year, we look forward to competing at a high level this season,” said first-year head coach NaJarius “JJ” Green. “We will always take it one game at a time, building on each week.” Coach Green’s team will take no games for granted this year and will be prepared to battle day-in-and-day-out.

“All our games will be great competition and tough battles. Our non-conference games should prepare us for conference games, and we feel they will do just that.”  Green continued, “Looking forward to an amazing season.”

The team will follow the mantra, #WorkisWork, throughout the season.
