Columbia College Athletics Announces New Head Athletic Trainer, Dr. Richard Williams

Columbia, S.C.- Director of Athletics Glen M. Crawford announced hiring Dr. Richard Williams as the department's next Head Athletic Trainer on Thursday afternoon.

With over a decade of experience, Dr. Williams has owned and operated his chiropractic practice in Taylorsville, North Carolina, while serving as the first team chiropractor for Lenoir Rhyne University since 2014.

A certified Athletic Trainer since 2009, Dr. Williams is also an avid community leader, serving on the Alexander County Health Board and founding the Bethlehem Business Association. He is a Certified Chiropractic Extremities Practitioner, one of only approximately 1500 worldwide. 

Dr. Williams is a Logan College of Chiropractic and Wingate University graduate and holds memberships with the American Chiropractic Association, National Athletic Training Association, and Council of Extremity Adjusting.
