Senior Chapel

The Savory Award, presented during Senior Chapel, is given each fall in memory of Dr. Jerold “Jerry” Savory, a long-time faculty member and academic leader at Columbia College, greatly admired by students, faculty, and staff. Nominated by the Junior and Senior classes and elected by the Senior class, this award honors the Columbia College senior who most exemplifies the ideals that Dr. Savory so greatly represented, commitment to personal integrity and academic excellence, ethical leadership, spiritual values, and the well-being of the Columbia College Community.
