M.A. Organizational Leadership

About the Organizational Leadership Program

The Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership prepares leaders to meet 21st century leadership challenges and opportunities. Leveraging interdisciplinary backgrounds in a diverse environment and through integrating theoretical approaches with practical applications, the OL Graduate Program brings together real-world practice with a robust academic approach that is designed to catalyze personal leadership strengths and leadership potential.

With a dynamic faculty of scholar-practitioners who are leading experts in their fields, the Organizational Leadership Graduate Program has a proven track record in cultivating strong leaders. In fact, graduates from the Program are currently leading organizations and programs in corporate, nonprofit, education, philanthropy, and small business on local and national levels.

According to the United States Bureau of Labor Statistics, projections are on the upswing for occupational growth. These statistics make the case for the need for leaders who are prepared to assume leadership roles and lead organizations with the knowledge and charisma that lead to successful outcomes. This is accomplished though strengthening leadership capabilities, exploring contemporary models of leading change, decision-making, innovation, organizational behavior, diverse teams, and organizational culture. These are the tenets of the Organizational Leadership Graduate Program at Columbia College.
