Do I need to attend orientation?
Yes. Orientation information will be sent to you via email prior to the beginning of your classes.

What is Koala Connection (KC)?
Koala Connection (KC) is Columbia College’s web-based Learning Management System (LMS). It is an online location for students to interact with professors and classmates, locate course syllabi and other important course information. KC also allows students to register for classes, view current class schedules, view midterm/final grades, and view scholarship and other financial information.
In order to access the KC website, you need your student identification number and password. If you do not have this information please contact the CC Information Technology department at 786.3007 or go to: http://koalatech.columbiasc.edu.
How do I use WiFi on campus?
Contact the IT Help Desk at 786.3007 to receive an access code.
How do I purchase books?
Whether paying with financial aid or by cash, check, or credit card, you can visit the campus bookstore in person or online at http://www.columbiasc.edu/student/c-squarebookstore.asp for more information. The campus bookstore is located on the first floor of the Harrelson Building, around the corner from the campus post office.
Do I need a parking decal?
Yes, you need a parking decal if you want to park on campus, but it is FREE! You will complete a parking decal registration and receive it during orientation.
Do I need a student ID card?
Yes, and it is FREE! Please check with the Campus Police prior to the beginning of your classes to acquire a student ID card. For lost cards, there is a replacement fee.
Where can I park?
When you receive your parking decals, you will also receive information on parking lots and interior campus parking spaces.
What is my CC email address?
*PLEASE NOTE: All student email passwords have been reset to the letters Koala and the last four numbers of your social security number (EX:Koala1324) to access webmail.
When is tuition due?
If you are not using Stafford Loans or making monthly payments through Tuition Management Systems, your full semester of tuition must be paid, in full, on or before the first day of class.
