Master’s Programs

Master of Education in Divergent Learning – This M. Ed. program is designed to develop a more in-depth comprehension of at-risk divergent learners and present alternative instructional methods and strategies to meet the needs of this population. The program benefits K-12 educators across all subject areas. The content and strategies give special emphasis to personality traits, learning styles, hands-on interactive activities, cooperative learning and collaboration, different methods of instructional delivery, and joint projects within a community of learners.

  • All classes meet 6 times each semester, for a total of thirty-six semester hours
  • Three semester cohort models enroll in May and August at varied locations
  • Four semester cohort model enrolls in August and ONLY on the main campus in Columbia

 

Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership – This program is designed for the working professional who wants to make a difference in how the work gets done in his or her organization or business. It’s about being ready when an opportunity comes along to lead in a different direction or guide your organization through change. Rapidly changing economic and social events require that leaders take bold steps and find new ways to tackle emerging issues and developments. Your confidence from learning new approaches can set you apart with readiness to lead new initiatives.

  • Three semester program
  • Classes meet 5 times each semester, for a total of thirty semester hours
  • Cohort enrolls in August

 

Master of Education in Higher Education – The curriculum in this program is designed to impart the essential knowledge necessary for professional advancement throughout a variety of administrative positions and departments within a college or university setting. It focuses on a global view of higher education. Students gain knowledge in governance, organization of higher education, leadership, student affairs, enrollment management, finance, critical issues facing higher education, and the law. The breadth of your courses will equip you to be a competent, confident leader across many departments at the institution of your choosing.

  • Cohort enrolls in August
