Residence Life & Housing Room Selection Process
Welcome New Residents!
Congratulations on your acceptance into Columbia College! We look forward to seeing you at New Student Orientation and Fall Move In!
Fall 2016 Housing Applications and Housing Contracts for incoming students will be made available at New Student Orientation days. Housing applications and contracts will also be made available after Orientation has taken place for students unable to attend.
We will continue to provide information on the housing process for incoming students as it becomes available.
If you missed the Room Selection process but still want to be assigned a room for the 2016-2017 year, it’s not too late! Please do the following three things:
1. Make your $100 Initial Housing Payment (or submit a request to not make the IHP through Financial Aid). If you need more information on the payment options, please stop by the Residence Life office.
2. Complete your Housing application (available in the Residence Life office).
3. Read and sign your Housing Contract (available in the Residence Life office).
Once you have submitted these three items, we will make your assignment for you. We try to meet as many of your preferences as possible based on the space availability. It is easier to meet those preferences in the spring or early summer. We will continue to make assignments in batches throughout the summer and early fall…please let us know if your plans change and you are still interested in living on campus.
