Room Selection Information for New or First Year Students:

Welcome New Residents!

Congratulations on your acceptance into Columbia College! We look forward to seeing you at Fall Move In!

Fall 2016 Housing Applications for incoming students can be made available with your admissions counselor or through the Office of Residence Life and Housing.

Incoming First Year student housing assignments for the 2016-2017 year have been made and posted in Koala Connection or KC. Please check your CC email address for more information concerning how to check KC for your assignment as well as information on roommates!

See a new face on campus?

We would like to give a big Koala welcome to Allison Davis, our new Area Coordinator for Upperclass Halls! Don’t forget to stop by her office and give her a warm welcome when you return for the semester!

Looking to reside on campus for part or all of the summer?

Summer Housing applications are available now in the Residence Life Office.

Stop by the office if you have any questions!

We will provide housing for students needing to remain on campus for any length of time during the summer. Although we do have standard summer sessions, we can adjust your residence hall contract to meet the amount of time you need. The rate per week will be $80.

Applications for summer housing are still being accepted (throughout the summer) for last minute changes in summer housing needs…let us know if you still need summer housing.

Room Selection Update for Current or Returning Students:

If you missed the Room Selection process but still want to be assigned a room for the 2016-2017 year, it’s not too late! Please do the following three things:

1. Make your $100 Initial Housing Payment (or submit a request to not make the IHP through Financial Aid). If you need more information on the payment options, please stop by the Residence Life office.

2. Complete your Housing application (available in the Residence Life office).

3. Read and sign your Housing Contract (available in the Residence Life office).

Once you have submitted these three items, we will make your assignment for you. We try to meet as many of your preferences as possible based on the space availability. It is easier to meet those preferences in the spring or early summer. We will continue to make assignments in batches throughout the summer and early fall…please let us know if your plans change and you are still interested in living on campus.
