Check out the updates from the McNair Window Replacement and Ariail-Peele Building Demolition, along with a timeline for the Edens Library Renovation below!
McNair Window Replacement: All windows have been installed and cleaned. There are two exterior doors that need to be installed. Painting around the windows is complete, most construction debris has been removed, and the remaining windowsills have been installed. The new skylights in the courtyard have been installed. The skylights have been scraped and will be painted and sealed this week. We are excited to see how this facility upgrade will impact our incoming McNair residents.
Ariail-Peele Building Demolition: Demolition of Ariail-Peele is complete, and additional fill continues to be brought in to fill the foundation area. Once full, the lot will be graded and seeded before students return to campus. The fence will remain until the seeding produces grass.
Edens Library Renovation: A contractor is currently moving all contents from the third floor to the main level. Scaffolding and abatement work began this week to prepare for demolition and abatement. Completion is tentatively scheduled for October 20.
